Mobile Car Cleaning in Ottawa: How It Works and How to Get the Most From It
What mobile car cleaning actually involves, what a $59 exterior wash and a $79 interior clean cover, how to prepare your driveway, and what a realistic before-and-after looks like.

Mobile car cleaning means exactly what it sounds like: instead of driving to a bay, waiting in a lobby and driving home, someone arrives at your address with water, power and supplies and cleans the vehicle where it already sits. In a city like Ottawa, where most homes have a driveway and most weekends already have enough errands in them, that convenience is usually the whole reason people book.
This is a plain guide to how it works, what an exterior wash and an interior clean each cover, how to get your driveway ready, and what a genuine before-and-after looks like — including the parts a wash cannot fix.
How a mobile visit actually runs
A mobile clean is a self-contained visit. Everything needed comes with us, and the vehicle does not move. Most single-vehicle appointments fall inside a couple of hours, and you do not have to stand outside for any of it.
- You pick a date and a time window when the vehicle will be parked and accessible.
- We confirm the window with you — nothing is locked in until that conversation happens.
- We arrive, walk around the vehicle with you if you are home, and point out anything a clean will not change.
- We work through the package you chose, then do a final check before we pack up.
Two packages, two fixed prices
There are two options and both prices are published, in Canadian dollars, plus HST where applicable. There is no upsell conversation in your driveway and no menu of tiers that only exists to make the middle one look reasonable.
- Exterior Wash & Buff — $59. A proper hand wash of the outside panels, wheel faces, glass and door shuts, finished with a light buff so the paint looks even again.
- Interior Wash & Buff — $79. The inside cleaned and wiped down: dash, console, door cards, seats, mats and the surfaces your hands actually land on.
- Both packages on the same visit if the vehicle needs the full reset inside and out.
What a realistic before-and-after looks like
The honest version of a before-and-after is not a mirror finish. It is a panel that had a grey film of road grime sitting on it, and the same panel with that film gone. Colour comes back, reflections sharpen, and the car reads as looked-after rather than neglected — because most of what people describe as faded paint is contamination on top of the paint, not the paint itself.
What a wash and light buff will not do is remove deep scratches, repair clear coat that has already failed, take out dents, or restore paint that has oxidised down to a chalky surface. If your vehicle has any of those, we will tell you before we start rather than after you have paid.

How to prepare your driveway
There is very little to do, but a few minutes of setup makes the visit smoother and the result better.
- Park the vehicle where there is room to walk all the way around it — a driveway, carport or private parking spot.
- Clear out anything you do not want handled: child seats you would rather remove yourself, work equipment, valuables, loose paperwork.
- Take out large rubbish and any food or drink containers so the cleaning time goes into surfaces, not bags.
- Let us know if the vehicle has aftermarket seat covers, delicate trim, cracked glass or any panel you want left alone.
Pets, kids and unlocked doors are all fine. If you are not going to be home, tell us where the vehicle will be and how you want to handle keys, and we will work around it.

When it is worth booking
Ottawa gives a vehicle two hard seasons and two useful reset points. Spring is when the winter salt film comes off and the interior gets rid of a season of grit and sand. Autumn is when tree sap, pollen dust and summer road film come off before the salt starts again.
- Before you sell or trade in — a clean vehicle photographs and shows dramatically better.
- After winter, once the salting season is over.
- Before a road trip, or right after one.
- When the inside has quietly become the family transport floor and you would rather not spend a Saturday on it.
Where we come
We cover Ottawa and the surrounding communities — Kanata, Stittsville, Barrhaven, Nepean, Orléans, Gloucester, Riverside South, Manotick and the neighbourhoods in between. If you are not sure whether your address is in range, ask; the answer is usually yes.
Booking it
Pick your package, give us the address, the vehicle and a preferred date and time window, and we will come back to you to confirm. Requesting a time is not the same as a confirmed appointment — we confirm every window directly with you before it is booked.
Ready when you are: see the mobile car cleaning page for both packages and the booking form, or use the contact page if you would rather ask a question first.
