Is this a mobile car wash that comes to my house in Ottawa?
Yes. We bring the equipment to your Ottawa address and clean the car or SUV where it's parked, usually in the driveway. There's no bay to drive to and no queue to sit in.
Is this the same as full car detailing?
No, and we'd rather be clear about it. This is a thorough wash, interior clean and buff at fixed prices — not multi-stage detailing. There's no paint correction, ceramic coating, engine bay work, wet-extraction of upholstery or odour treatment. If that's what you need, a dedicated detailer is the better call.
What exactly is included in the Exterior Wash & Buff at $59?
A pre-rinse and hand wash of the exterior panels, wheel faces cleaned, exterior glass cleaned, a rinse and hand dry to limit water spotting, and a light hand buff with a microfibre cloth or hand applicator pad to even out the finish where that suits the paint. It's a thorough clean and hand-applied finish — not paint correction.
What's included in the Interior Wash & Buff at $79?
A vacuum of the seats, carpets, mats and boot area, then the dashboard, centre console, door panels, trim, cup holders and storage areas wiped down, plus interior glass cleaned and surfaces buffed to an even, clean finished appearance.
Can I book both packages for the same vehicle?
Yes. Choose one package on the form and note in the message that you'd like the other as well. We'll confirm the combined time and total with you before anything is scheduled.
Do you remove scratches, stains or odours?
No. This is a cleaning service, so scratches, swirls, chips and oxidation aren't removed, and set-in stains, dye transfer, pet damage or lingering odours may not come out. We'll be straight with you about what a clean can realistically achieve.
Do you need my water and power?
Sometimes, depending on the vehicle and the package. Tell us on the form whether outdoor water and an outdoor outlet are available, and we'll sort out the arrangements when we confirm your appointment.
Where do you work on the vehicle?
Right where it's parked, as long as that's a firm, level surface — usually a driveway — with enough room to work around the vehicle safely.
Is submitting the form a confirmed appointment?
No. It's a request. The prices are fixed and published, but Mattabo Property Care will contact you to confirm the date and time window, and the appointment is only set once we've confirmed it with you.
